The bride wants a traditional white, long dress and the groom wants a black, sleek tuxedo. However, if you are not an average couple, with average desires, and you want a little something out of the ordinary, a St. Patrick's Day theme wedding might be just the thing for you. This wedding would require a generally green décor for the wedding venue. You could have green drapes and green pews. It might be extremely festive to have only green flowers, which would give the wedding an extremely St. Patrick's day like feel. The bride might decide to find a completely green dress and have the bridesmaids dress accordingly as well. The groom should try to find a green tuxedo to match his soon-to-be wife. The invitations for a St. Patrick's Day themed wedding should, like everything else, be completely green. The card itself could be a dark green, while the lettering could be light. What might be fun to do would be to attack the wedding invitation to a green shamrock, and send it like that to every invitee. You must also specify in the wedding invitation that attire is formal, but also green. If you're not wearing green on St. Patrick's day, Irish tradition says that everyone must pinch you.
